She also learned about the use of firearms, deadly force and various methods for interrogation. Asha earned a master's degree in international and public affairs at Princeton. She was also awarded the Fulbright grant to research constitutional changes in Bogota. Asha received her Law diploma in the year 2000 from Yale Law School. While there, she served as an Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. She is admitted to the State Bar of New York (2003) as well as the State Bar of Connecticut (2003). Asha has published a number of op-eds which include within The New York Times The Wall Street Journal The Washington Post. Asha also works as a legal adviser to ABC News. She is an editor on the board of Just Security and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
